Sad!!! Inter Milan in "great pain" after talented youngster confirmed dead.

Italian club INTER MILAN are mourning the death of their youth-team player Maicol Lentini, who passed away at the age of 15.

The youngster suffered a long battle with illness and sadly died on Sunday at his home in Pavia, northern Italy.

The Italian club released a short statement yesterday.

“Owners, managers, the Nerazzurri Youth Sector, of which Maicol was a part, team and supporters gather around his family on this day of great pain.”
The promising footballer was forced to leave the Inter academy in January 2017 to focus on treatment in Genoa.

But after encouraging news that his health had started to improve, reports in Italy say he suffered a sudden setback and unfortunately could not recover.
