I suffered more than I did as a player - Ronaldo revealed

Former Balon D'or winner and Brazilian legend Ronaldo Nazario has indicated that managing a foootball club is much more difficult than playing football.
"You suffer more in the director's box than I ever did as a player," Ronaldo explained in an interview with MARCA.
"I try to keep my emotions hidden, but the worst day for me was when we secured our safety.
"Perhaps the footballing gods helped us, but we deserved to avoid the drop."

Real Valladolid have been rocked by the findings of 'Operation Oikos' in the past days, and after the arrest of Borja Fernandez, the former Inter forward has spoken out in defence of his friend.
"Borja is a friend, I hope the situation is clarified and it's proven that he has nothing to do with it," Ronaldo added.
"It's out of our hands, I hope it's a misunderstanding.
"We believe in the research work that the police are doing, but we're a team that fights to have transparency and are completely against any form of corruption."
Many were surprised when the former Brazilian international purchased Real Valladolid, but it wasn't the quick process that many believed it to be.
"I was looking for a team in Europe for two years," Ronaldo intimated.
"The club that appealed to me the most was Valladolid.
"I think there is everything here that a project should have."
Valladolid escaped the relegation battle by only four points.
