SUAREZ SET TO JOIN ARSENAL

Arsenal and Barcelona have stuck terms over a deal for Denis Suarez.

RAC1 says Arsenal are willing to pay Barcelona €2m to complete a loan deal for their top January target Suarez.


The Gunners are then prepared to pay an additional €20m to make the move permanent in the summer, should Suarez impress in north London.

The Spaniard has been Arsenal's top target all month after Unai Emery identified him as the right man to shore up the Gunners' midfield.


Suarez wants to join Arsenal this month but Barcelona had been playing hardball over the move, favouring a permanent switch with cash up front for the Spaniard.

However, a compromise appears to now have been reached.AA
