Manchester Special!!!! City starlet is delighted to become father for the first time
Manchester City's startlet, 18-year-old Phil Foden, has become a father for the first time.
The Premier League footballer is said to be delighted with the birth of his baby and is supporting his girlfriend and their child.
Phil Foden, and his girlfriend Rebecca Cooke, 18, are believed to have welcomed a
The young star is believed to be living with his parents while his girlfriend lives with her mother, The Sun reports.
A source told The Sun: 'Phil used to put loads of pictures on social media of him and Rebecca. That stopped when he started getting near City's first team.
'He has to concentrate on football. He may be a bit young to do that and set up home with Becca. But she and their baby will want for nothing.'
At the end of last year, it was revealed that the City player had purchased a house worth around £2million for himself and his mother and father Claire and Phil.
The purchase, which followed Foden's footballing success, saw the young star move from his modest home in Stockport to an affluent part of south Manchester.
The move with his parents allowed him to keep his family, who he is extremely close with, together while also enabling him to continue his development at the football club.
The Stockport-born midfielder, who has been playing for the club since the age of eight, scored his first goal for Manchester City last September during a League One game with Oxford United in the Carabao Cup.
Alongside becoming a key player in City's under-18's team, his exceptional talent has helped him progress to England's under-21 national squad.
