"Insufficient" and "Timid" - Real Madrid fans furious about club's transfer policy
Over 200,000 fans have participated in a poll conducted by the Madrid-based daily in which with the results damning for Los Blancos, who were humiliated 7-3 by their city rivals Atletico Madrid in a fierce pre-season friendly.
The Madrid based club have face a disappointing pre season preparation accompanied with series of injuries, with the most horrible one picked by attacker Marcos Asensio who could miss the up coming season due to knee ligament injury.
According to the poll, four out of five voters thought that the club’s transfer business has been ‘too timid’ and ‘insufficient’, especially with their midfield.
Furthermore, despite over €300m being spent on players this summer, fans see only the addition of Eden Hazard as changing the starting XI ahead of next season.
The report adds that “Nacho, Marcelo, (Toni) Kroos, Lucas Vázquez, Isco, (Karim) Benzema and even (Luka) Modric” have negative feelings among the fans.
Another finding of the report is that four out of six voters are against the possible signing of former Barcelona star Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain.
