JORGE ALBERTO MENDONCA PAULINO
BORN (19TH. SEPTEMBER, 1938)
He was born in Luanda , Angola ,And started his career with S.C. Braga in Portugal. He then moved in 1958,to Spain where the 19 years Old boy would remain for the rest of his playing days, representing Deportivo de La Coruña for a couple of months then signing for Atlético Madrid .

He made his debut for the Madrid club on 14 September in a 2–0 home win against Real Oviedo , scoring in the game.
He then scored again in three days later as one of four players netting braces in an 8–0 trouncing of Drumcondra F.C. for the season 's European Cup.
During his nine-year spell at the Vicente Calderón Stadium , Mendonça made 167 appearances though he'd never appear in more than 25 La Liga matches, but he managed to put the ball at the back of the net 59 times and was a solid attacking contributor as the Colchoneros won three Copa del Rey trophies and the 1962
UEFA Cup Winners' Cup, with the player scoring in the final 's replay, a 3–0 triumph over ACF Fiorentina.
His performance alarmed BARCELONA to lure the player to the Nou Camp where he managed to score only 9 goals in 33 appearances in a space of two seasons. He then left BARCELONA to Mallorca the following season. Mendonca left with official totals of 235 games and 91 career goals, retiring in June 1970 after unassuming top flight spells with FC
