Let's have a look at players who have scored HAT-TRICK from free-kicks in their footballing career.


Many can argue for the fact that it is not easy to score three goals from free kicks in one particular game as the games greats like Johan Cruyff, Pele, Maradona, Rivaldo, Beckham, Ronaldinho, free kick expert like Juninho and the rest who did wonders in football were not able to achieve that feet.

Not even Messi and  Cristiano Ronaldo who have been broken all sorts of football records can boast of such achievement but still there remain players who have made such great achievements to their names.


In December 13, 1998, Serbian international Sinisa Mihajlovic scored three different free kick goals when he was playing for Lazio in the Italian top flight.
Lazio went ahead and won the match 5-2.


Former Italian striker Giuseppe Signori also scored hat-trick of free kicks when he was playing for Lazio against Atlanta in 10th. April, 1994. The match ended 3-1 in favour of the Le Aquile (The Eagles).


Current Falkirk coach and former Scottish international Ray McKinnon saved Dundee United in an away game against Kilmarnock in 1997 by scoring three classical free-kicks which  earned the away side the vital three points. The match eventually ended 3-2 in the side of Dundee.


Brazil's Marcus Assuncão produced three goals from free-kicks when the former Roma midfielder was playing for Santos in 1997 in a cup game against Bahia, in a tensed match which ended 3-3 after 90minutes and time added on.
