Barcelona have quickly responded to Jurgen Klopp’s comments about the Nou Camp, with the German saying that is ‘just a stadium’.
Ahead of Wednesday’s huge Champions League semi-final between Liverpool and Barcelona, matters have heated up between the sides off the pitch.
In his pre-match comments, Klopp played down talks that the Nou Camp is a temple of football and instead said that it is ‘just a stadium’ to prove his team are not fearful heading into the first game.
This has clearly angered Barcelona, as they swiftly took to Twitter to respond saying: “This is the Camp Nou. OUR HOUSE. OUR TEMPLE”
